More bombs dropped on mine in Kyainseikgyi by military aircraft

The military council conducted more aerial attacks on mines in Kyainseikgyi Township, a territory of Brigade 6 of Karen National Union (KNU), according to the sources from Dooplaya District.

The fighter jet targeted No. 1 and No. 2 mines in Brigade 6 of Dooplaya District on the morning of November 22, destroying some buildings.

On November 21, the KNLA Joint Force occupied and set fire to the Taungalay Police Station of the Military Council, and so the regime troops again bombed the mining site with an airplane, according to local residents.

On November 16, a military aircraft bombarded a mine in the 6th Brigade of Kyainseikgyi Township, killing three workers in the mine and injuring six others, including a Chinese national.

The spokesperson of the military regime, General Zaw Min Tun, admitted that the mines in Kyainseikgyi Township were not military targets but were bombed because they were the ones that provided financial support to terrorist organizations.

On November 22, the KNLA joint forces clashed with junta troops who launched an offensive in Taungkyain village of Kawkayeik Township in Brigade 6 area. And three comrades from KNLA forces were killed by the junta’s artillery fire, the White Tiger squadron reported.

When the 100-strong military forces from Taungkyainn marched towards Laungkai village on November 21, indiscriminate firing damaged some houses and drove locals from the village.
