Two civilians arrested, killed by junta soldiers in Launglon

The two civilians were killed by the regime forces who invaded into Nyawpyin village in Taninthayi Region’s Launglon Townshi on November 25, the members of People’s Defense Forces told Than Lwin Times.

About 60 members of junta forces and Pyu Saw Htee militia launched offensive in Nyawpyin village around 7 am on that day, arresting and killing two civilians.

U Lay Wa Sa and Ko Kyaw Soe, two locals from Nyawpyin village, were taken into custody and assaulted by regime troops before being shot to death.

According to reports, when the military personnel and Pyu Saw Hti invaded Nyawpyin village, looted the valuables items from the houses of the fleeing locals, the information official from Launglon PDF said.

More than 500 local residents of Nyawpyin village have been forced to due to the invasion of junta armed forces and Pyu Saw Htee militia.

It is reported that they left for Launglon Township on November 26.

Under the guise of searching for the PDFs, the military personnel often invade communities in Launglon Township and continue to arrest, murder, shoot, and kill people while forcibly looting and taking valuables from locals.
