Monywa university students provide basic human needs for junta’s arson attack victims

Salingyi, 25 January

The six anti-coup groups, including Student Union of Monywa University, provided support and assistance to   people from the villages which suffered arson attacks of junta troops in Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region.

Junta troops burnt down more than 200 houses of locals in six villages of Salingyi village in one month.

The victims are receiving humanitarian assistance from local protest groups and people defense forces as they are taking shelter at schools and monasteries.

The fundamental needs for the victims of arson attacks were received from Student Union of Monywa University, Letpadaungtaung Main Protest Group, Student Union of Yadanabon University, People’s Administration in Salingyi Township, Women Alliance  Burma (WAB) and MTYC.
