Woman dead in junta air raid on station hospital in Magway

 A 60-year-old woman died and two members of people defence force were injured in the surprised airstrike of military in Myaing Township, Magway,  on 21 January.

Without any armed clashes on ground, the military jet fighters deliberately dropped bombs over Bahin Station Hospital in the controlled area of National University Government.

“The military jet fighter conducted an air strike over Bahin village around 1 pm. Two PDF members were injured—one’s hand was broken and another one suffered head injury. A 60-year-old woman died in the incident,” said a local to Than Lwin Times.

Some damages occurred at the X-ray room of the hospital.

Some women in the stage of labor in delivery unit and other 50 patients were rescued from the hospital.

Than Lwin Times is making the follow-up reports on the incident.

The National Unity Government said that over 200 civilians died in junta’s air strikes after the coup.

U Kyaw Zaw, the spokesperson of President’s Office of NUG, said to Than Lwin Times that they preparing to defend against military aircrafts amid public criticism about failure of the shadow government which confirmed their passion of air defense system.
