Yinmabin, 3 February
Junta officials used loudspeakers in urging the locals in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, not to conduct ‘Silent Strike’ and not to stay at home.
People in many areas of Myanmar marked the 2nd anniversary of military coup on 1 February.
In recent days, junta officials arrested motorcycles on the ways in some townships of Sagaing Region, and asked them to get motorcycles back at the relevant offices on 1 February. However, no one tried to do so on that day.
Myanmar people have successfully conducted three times of ‘Silent Strike’ since the military coup on 1 February 2021.
