Kawkareik, 13 March
The Karen armed groups held a public meeting at Nabutagontine area in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State on 10 March, according to the report of KNU/KNLA PC.
The local leaders at the meeting were the Karen National Union (KNU) chairman General Mutu Sae Poe, General Saw Jawni and its officials, KNU/KNLA Peace Council chairman General Saw Htot Lay, DKBA Colonel Saw San Aung, and BGF’s No.(2) Commander Major Saw Kya In and Colonel Saw Chit Thu.
