Pauk, 15 July
Resistance forces raided and set fire a village of pro-military Pyu Saw Htee group in Pauk township, Magway region, according to the report of Myaing People’s Defence Organization.
Soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members were also killed in the raid on Tetkone-Ywathit on 11 July morning.
A member of Myaing PDO said to Than Lwin Times that some soldiers fled, and the airstrike of military hit their soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members. Three resistance members got minor injuries.
The joint forces killed five soldiers and 23 Pyu Saw Htee members, and 120-mm heavy weapon shelling of the military from Pauk township killed livestock in the village.
The resistance forces rescued seven civilians arrested by the military and Pyu Saw Htee about ten days ago, and also confiscated 7 impoverished guns.
The mission was jointly carried out by YRF in Pauk township, Pakokku district’s PDF battalion 11/18, PKU Earthquake, Pauk PDO, Pauk village’s defence force, company 2 and 4 of Myaing PDO battalion 3.
