Phruso, 19 August
Military’s jet fighter carried out bomb attack on a Christian church in Hteethawku village of Phruso township, Karenni state on 12 August night.
The Karenni Nationalities Defence Force reported that the attack around 8 pm destroyed the church, some other buildings and the brick fence.
Armed conflicts occurred in this area some days ago before airstrike, and the KNDF said the report was made only on 18 August due to information gathering processes.
The KNDF has warned public not to use Demoso-Phruso Union highway where clashes frequently occurred between military’s battalions under its Brigade 55 and the resistance forces.
