Nay Pyi Taw, 16 June
A captain and his cadet died in a military helicopter crash in Leiwei Township, Nay Pyi Taw, on 15 June.
Junta media reported the accident occurred after the engine broke down about 5 miles southwest of Laldargyi village in Leiwei township during the training session flying from Nay Pyi Taw to Meikhtila township.
The bodies of two victims were taken to the nearest military hospital.
Locals said to Than Lwin Times that airplanes were on the runways at the accident site, and some military vehicles were also damages.
