The Mon State Revolutionary Force issued a statement on 12 October, condemning Myanmar military’s aerial attack on Muan Lai Hka IDP village near Laiza, Kachin, which killed over 30 civilians including women and children (month old infant), and injured at least 50.
It was the second deadly aerial attack of Myanmar military in Kachin state among many airstrikes leading to mass killing across the country after its coup.
The MSRF has urged ASEAN member states and global countries to take actions against this inhumane attack of military on civilian target as it is a genocide to bear responsibilities.
The statement reiterates that the MSRF will continue fighting for the emergence of genuine federal union, together with oppressed peer ethnic people and democratic revolutionary forces.
