Junta chief Min Aung Hlaing is attending events and ceremonies at a time while military is losing its outposts and bases on a daily basis due to Operation 1027 of the Three Brotherhood Alliance.
The junta-run newspaper Global New Light of Myanmar and the Mirror reported on October 31 that the coup leader enjoyed the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition and the dinner in the evening.
The military council, on the other hand, was abandoning the camps one by one, and many of the troops were killed or captured, losing their weapons and ammunition.
The alliance reported on November 1 that they captured 87 regime camps in the first five days of the operation and took control over Chin Shwe Haw, Hpawnghseng and Theinni Towns.
CDM Sergeant Zeya from the Air Force said, “The junta chief wants to show normalcy by attending the ceremonies, but in reality, the Burmese army is facing the worst defeat in history. This could be a trick to keep the army from disintegrating.”
Veteran political analyst U Pe Than said that the junta leader wants to hide everything after suffering defeat in every sector, including military and political matters.
Operation 1027 of the Three Brotherhood Alliance is gaining momentum, and the loss of junta bases is the worst in the history of the army since 1988.
The CDM military community also believed that Operation 1027 could lead to the collapse of the military regime as well as riots and mutiny within the army.
Operation 1027, which has gained popularity in a few days, has received the support of the people, including the National Unity Government (NUG) as well as ethnic revolutionary forces.
