Okpo, 3 October
A head of hundred-households appointed by the military junta in Okpo township, Bago region, was shot dead on his way to Light Infantry Battalion 6 for receiving military training on 2 October evening.
Company 4 (Underground Guarilia Force-Okpo) of People’s Defence Force Battalion 3802 in Tharyarwadi district killed U Aung Win Lay who is the local leader of Pyusawhte militia.
He assisted in recruitment of military junta, informed the camps of resistance forces and intimidated people.
The victim died on the spot, and a mobile phone, a record book with investigation on the movement of resistance force, 31,150 kyat, his national ID card and his Covid free certificate were seized from him.
