The National Unity Government (NUG)’s Defense Minister U Yee Mon has warned the People’s Defense Forces (PDFs) not to use social media for battle-related issues.
This was said on September 14 in the speech of (NUG) Defense Minister U Yee Mon, who met with the PDFs every Wednesday online.
U Yee Mon warned that it is not appropriate to freely post military secrets on social media and that obeying superior orders is vital for a soldier.
U Yee Mon said, “Due to the guerilla attack, the strength of the military council is decreasing day by day and it may collapse at any time at that time, it will be the responsibility of the NUG and the PDFs to prevent Myanmar from becoming chaotic and to protect the lives and property of the people.”
In addition, the NUG Defense Minister said that those who have the ability to think independently join in the people’s embrace and desert the military council in various ways.
The National Unity Government (NUG) has currently formed more than 300 PDF battalions, and has established township people’s defense forces in more than 250 of the 330 townships nationwide and is fighting against the military.
