Two PDF comrades lose their lives in Launglon

Two PDF comrades died of a mine accident and health issue in Tanintharyi Region’s Launglon Township, according to a report by Launglon PDF on March 31.


On March 22, PDF Comrade Kyar Kalay died in a mine accident while going to plant a mine against the junta troops deployed secretly near the Kamyawkin Bridge in Launglon Township.


Comrade Kyar Kalay was hit by shrapnel due to an explosion caused by a phone call while he was planting a landmine.


Comrade Lu Mae, deputy platoon commander of the Launglon People’s Defense Force’s (LLPDF) PinleKyat platoon, passed away in a camp because of a health issue on March 20.


According to the LLPDF information official, who spoke to Than Lwin Times, he is deeply upset by the loss of the two PDF troops and will keep fighting alongside the rest of his allies to bring down the military dictatorship.
