The Mon State Revolutionary Organization (MSRO) attacked a gate of artillery unit 316 near nine-mile village in Mon State’s Ye Township around 9 am on October 6.

The MSRO attacked the gate of artillery unit 316 on the Ye-Dawei route with a 40 mm mortar shell.

The mortar shell fired by MSRO exploded near the gate of the artillery unit.

The official from MSRO said that there may be casualties on the junta side and that the details are still being investigated by MSRO.

After the attack, MSRO successfully retreated without any harm.

The MSRO, a Mon State-based resistance force, bombed the office of the Bureau of Special Investigation in Ye on September 26, causing some parts of the building to collapse.
