The Kyaikto Revolutionary Force (KRF) declared on May 1 that they would speed up the spring revolution aimed at the overthrow of the military dictatorship in Kyaikto township of Mon State.
The statement said that the KRF has planned to intensify attacks on areas belonging to the military council and warned the public to be alert.
People are requested to stay away from junta-affiliated armed organizations, departmental buildings and staff, informants and spies, military bases, and junta-related hotels and restaurants.
It also said that the KRF will not be held responsible for the consequences of those related to the military council without following the warning.
The KRF is a revolutionary force that cooperates with the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and frequently carries out targeted attacks on the Kim Mon Chaung police station, Mokepalin checkpoint, Than Bridge checkpoint in Beilin Township, BGF camps, and junta forces.
