The Ministry of Defence under the National Unity government called for public services to monitor the flights of junta’s fighter jets, and to get Real-time information about activities at airbases, airfields and helipads, in preventing air strikes across the country.

In the past two years of coup, the junta conducted over 700 airstrikes across the country, killing many civilians. The high civilian death occurred in the air strikes on a school where children were inside it in Tabayin village of Sagaing region and Anangpar area in Hpakant Township of Kachin State last year, during a concert commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the Kachin Independence Organisation (KIO).

The NUG said that over 200 civilians were killed in the air strikes of junta across the country. The Ministry of Defence has created a
