The anti-regime resistance forces attacked and captured a military camp of regime forces and Border Guard Force (BGF) in KNU’s Brigade 5 on the morning of February 25, the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) reported.
Around 6 am, yesterday, a joint camp of the junta army and BGF in Brigade 5 was attacked by the allied resistance forces – Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA), the People’s Defense Forces (PDF), and the Force for Federal Democracy (FFD).
According to the BPLA, their opposition forces opened fire on the camp for a few minutes, driving junta soldiers and BGF soldiers to flee in fear. The camp was taken after a half hour.
According to the BPLA statement, there were no injuries on the side of the allied forces following the conflict, one dead body of the military council was discovered, and two weapons and related materials were confiscated.
