The Overseas Irrawaddy Association (OIA) donated basic food supplies to the internally displaced persons (IDP) at two temporary camps in Thailand.
Up to 8 April, there are an estimated 10,000 newly displaced persons, mostly the elderly persons and children, and they have some difficulties for bathing and no emergency medicines.
Thailand has established 15temporary amps for IDPs at schools, monasteries and cattle farms near its border with Myanmar.
