Junta chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said to his soldiers to maintain determined efforts in battles, with applying military tactics efficiently as they would be deployed to battles anytime and any circumstance.
During the meeting with his soldiers and their family members at Kalaw Station in Eastern Command on 6 March, Min Aung Hlaing said, “Every Tatmadaw member has to get trainings at different levels depending on their ability, experiences and skills to be able to perform their duties efficiently.”
“Every soldiers needs to be ready and willing to perform duties with good attitude,” he added.
He also assured his soldiers that active performance in duties will help in the progress of their lives.
A former military captain who joined civil disobedient movement said to Than Lwin Times, “ Myanmar military is at risk of splitting. Some officers are giving bribe not to be deployed to the frontline. There have been several defection from the army. Some contacted us and some others did not contact us. Some soldiers surrendered at the frontline.”
He continued to say that there have been suspicious among each other in the army, and it may lead the organization to disunite.
However, the junta regime is spreading various propaganda to prevent split withing their organization.
According to the records of Association for Assistance of Political Prisoners, over 3,000 civilians have been killed after the power seizure of Myanmar military.
