Demoso, July (22)
The 5th Battalion of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force, KNDF, has asked the people to provide as much as they can with weapons and ammunition in order to be able to fight from the front lines in the battle against the military dictatorship.
The KNDF’s 5th Battalion established a women’s unit with roughly 60 forces in May.
Now the women’s force has received tough training to be able to fight from the front line.
But the lack of weapons is a challenge for the women’s unit to go to the front line.
A female member of the KNDF appealed to the public to provide the necessary weapons and ammunition to fight the regime forces on the front lines.
The KNDF female soldiers are now responsible for support duties for their frontline comrades and the process of helping the injured due to lack of weapons and ammunition.
According to the National Unity Government (NUG), it will give priority to supplying guns and ammunition to places where fighting is intense.
