The Theinzayat police station in Kyaikto Township, Mon State, was attacked by a drone at around 9:30 am on September 10, the residents told Than Lwin Times.
Some police officers might have been injured when an unidentified group used a drone to bomb the Theinzayat police station.
“I heard a loud explosion from the side of the police station compound. At first, I thought it was an explosion while testing explosive devices in the compound. Later, I found out that it was a bomb. I don’t know the exact number of injured people,” said a resident.
The police fired at least 10 shots and yelled at the surroundings after the police station was attacked by a drone.
In Mon State, a few days ago, an unknown armed group attacked the police station in Paung Township with heavy weapons, resulting in some parts of the office building being damaged.
