Seven military personnel were killed and 11 others were injured in attacks on military convoy and regime forces stationed at three locations in Mon State’s Belin Township, a spokesperson of KNU Brigade 1, Thaton District, told Than Lwin Times.

The revolutionary forces mined a convoy of five military vehicles traveling from Kyaikto to Belin on June 30, and bombed the junta checkpoints at Belin Than Bridge and old toll gate checkpoints by drones.

A military vehicle was damaged, seven military people were killed, and seven others were injured in the convoy attack, and no casualties have been reported so far in the drone attack.

The KNLA/PDF joint forces have been carrying out military activities in Belin and Thaton townships of Mon State for the time being.

In the early morning of June 29, the coalition mined the Kyoneik Bridge between Belin and Thaton, and conducted another drone attack on regime troops and departmental staff who came to inspect it, killing three people and injuring 26 others, including the commander of Thaton Distric, Colonel Aung Aung Hein.
