Salingyi, 9 August
Protesters comprised of Monywa University Students’ Union, Letpadaungtaung Woman Allied Strike Group and locals on 8 August asked Chinese companies Wanbao and Yantse to stop business ties with Myanmar miliary regime.
These two companies are providing accommodation to Myanmar military in exchange of security, and the locals have lost their patience to land seizure of military for project area of Wanbao company.
