Demoso, 1 September

One civilian was killed  as the military conducted airstrikes over villages in Demoso township, Karenni township, according to the report of Karenni Nationalities Defence Force.

Around 4 am on 31 August, the military bombed over  a village and a camp of internally displaced persons on 31 August since 4 am, destroying some buildings.

Around 6 am, two jet fighters dropped nine bombs over an IDP camp in eastern part of Demoso, killing one person and two injured, while a school and some buildings were destroyed.

As the military is carrying out airstrikes on Karenni state, which is close to the capital Nay Pyi Taw, people hae fled to nearby jungles.

Despite attacks with heavy weapon firing and airstrikes, sMajor-General Zaw Min Tun, the spokesperson of junta, said at their press conferences that the military did not target civilians.
