Ye, September (27)
The regime’s Bureau of Special Investigation (BSI) office was attacked by mine at Yangyiaung Ward in Mon State’s Ye Township, around 9 am on September 26, the locals told Than Lwin Times.
The east side of the office building collapsed when the BSI office was detonated by the Mon State Revolutionary Organization (MSRO), which is based in Mon State, and no one was injured.
After the explosion, military troops arrived and conducted searches and inspections.
The military council tightened security after three people, including the deputy township immigration officer, were killed in an shooting attack on the immigration office in Ye township on August 3.
In spite of the military council’s heightened security, the revolutionary forces have been frequently carrying out targeted attacks against the military council’s departmental offices.
