According to the KNLA joint forces’ Cobra column, the suffering military government conducted aerial reconnaissance and bombings near Lay Kay Kaw early on April 20.
The military council carried out a series of bombings on April 19 after reconnaissance at least seven times with a fighter jet and a reconnaissance aircraft into the area.
A spokesman for the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) coalition said no one was injured in the bombing.
On April 19, at least five military personnel were killed when the Cobra column retaliated with artillery fire, despite ambushes by regime troops in Lay Kay Kaw.
