The Kyaikto Revolutionary Force (KRF) released a statement on July 12 that it arrested and killed the leader of the Pyu Saw Htee militia from Thapyeni village in Mon State’s Belin Township.
The Pyu Saw Htee leader, Myo Si Thu, who was hiding in a monastery in Thapyeni village, was arrested by the coalition force of Kyaikto Revolutionary Force (KRF) and PDF Battalion 2 around 8 pm on July 11.
Two hand grenades were confiscated during the arrest of Pyu Saw Htee leader Myo Si Thu.
The Kyaikto Revolutionary Force (KRF) official said that they executed him after interrogation because it was clear that he had committed crimes.
According to locals, Pyu Saw Htee leader Myo Si Thu was an informant of the military council, and more than 20 people were reportedly arrested on his tip-off.
The KRF said that they will continue to attack the military councils, informants, and junta stooges while protecting the lives and property of the people.
After the coup, more than 10 military informants and members of the Pyu Saw Htee militia were killed in Belin Township.
