Demoso, July (14)
The Demoso People’s Defense Force told Than Lwin Times that three military personnel were killed when a junta convoy carrying food to the police station in Demoso township of Kayah state was caught in an intercepted attack.
On the morning of July 12, the Demoso PDF and NUG’s Central Division Battalion (1102) ambushed the military personnel who came to provide the food supplies to the Demoso police station in two white Hijets.
Three members of the military council were killed after a 30-minute exchange of fire.
The Demoso police station assisted his troops by firing with small and heavy weapons and conducting aerial reconnaissance.
The coalition forces of the PDFs are trying to cut off food supplies to the military council’s camps and police stations in Kayah State, and military convoys carrying rations are frequently attacked by the resistance forces.
