Yebyu, July (15)
A bomb exploded at the office of military security affairs on Nawaday Road on the east bank of Yebyu Township in Tanintharyi Region, destroying the whole building, the locals told Than Lwin Times.
On July 13, at around 10:00 pm, an unidentified group bombed the office of military security affairs, which caused the whole building to collapse.
After the attack, the sound of gunshots came out, but no one was reportedly injured. It said that at the military security affairs office, there were staff during the day, but no one was there at night.
Following the blast at the office, three military vehicles that came from the west bank of Yebyu for reinforcements were hit by a mine near the Yebyu bridge, and 2 vehicles were damaged. It was yet to be known if there were any casualties.
So far, no group has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
In Yebyu Township, some regime offices were bombed after the military coup, but this time the whole building collapsed.
