Dawei, July (21)
The regime troops stormed a small PDF camp and set it on fire near Bawa Pin village, Mytta Town in Tanintharyi Region’s Dawei Township, local PDFs told Than Lwin Times.
On July 19, a unit of 70 troops advanced and raided a guerilla force camp.
The PDP forces were forced to retreat from the camp as the junta army invaded the camp in full strength.
After that, the soldiers took away some of the items from the camp and then burned the camp down, an official from PDF said.
After burning down the camp, the soldiers abducted some locals and released them on July 20.
On December 21 last year, a PDF camp was also occupied in a junta raid in Khaung Taing Pyin Village, Dawei Township.
