The Aukkyin ward administrative office in Mon State’s Thaton Township was attacked by a mine and the back side of the office collapsed, the locals said.
The explosion occurred after two unidentified people planted a mine at the office of the Aukkyin administrative office.
The explosion caused damage to the back side of the building, but no casualties were reported.
After the attack, the junta forces conducted searches and inspections in some neighborhoods of Thaton.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack on the junta’s ward administrative office.
Thathon Township saw numerous bomb explosions after the military takeover, but since the explosion at the Thathon Market, there haven’t been any blasts for a long time.
