The National Unity Government NUG Acting President said efforts are being made to achieve wider political and military results in coming year than now, and the decisive battle to eradicate the fascist regime will come sooner or later.
The Acting President said Duwa Lashi La said on September 7 that after one year of the defensive war, the military council could not govern well even half of the country’s territory, and since the coming year would be a historic year, the NUG would do their best, and in the second year , the people’s revolution would be accelerated.
Political analyst U Than Soe Naing believes that the NUG will have a military advantage since it can control 21% of the urban region compared to the military council’s 13%.
The Acting President also said that the military group no longer has enough physical and mental strength to prevent the people’s power and will, and that the military, political, economic, and international crises have already arrived, and they have become more brutal.
There are also many areas that can be controlled militarily and administratively as a result of the People’s Defense Army and ethnic resistance groups resisting together. The Acting President also said that judges’ groups have been formed in 24 townships controlled by NUG and judicial activities have started to be implemented.
In addition, NUG has appealed to the people to support the fund as much as they can, which is necessary for the revolution to move forward.
The National Unity Government (NUG) was able to form more than 300 PDF battalions to fight against the military regime, and People’s Defense Forces in more than 250 townships out of 330 townships across the country.
