The military checkpoint near Shwe Than Lwin toll gate in Kyatpan village of Htaunghmu village tract in Mon State’s Thaton Township was attacked with a bomb-carrying drone around noon on November 9, the sources told Than Lwin Times.

A combined forces on Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) attacked the regime’s Kyarpan checkpoint.

The attack caused explosion near junta checkpoint, injuring one military personnel.

And then, the regime forces opened fire on surrounding areas with small and heavy weapons for about 30 minutes.

Due to the military council’s indiscriminate firing, hundreds of motorcyclists, including passenger automobiles, blocked the road for about an hour after the attack.

The military council’s Kyarpan checkpoint has been frequently attacked, with casualties on both sides. News – Than Lwin Times
