Local guerrillas assassinated three leaders of military-backed militias in Bago Region on 25 January.
Bago PDF confirmed that their Nan Htike Aung mission shot dead Myo Zaw Oo, Min Aung (a) Saw Lay Kwe and his wife Ei Mon who are senior members of Pyisawhtee group giving the protection money for their illegal gambling businesses in Bago, Phyue and Nyaunglaybin townships.
The joint groups of Phyue PDF and Naylaybin PDF conducted this mission without any injuries of resistance force members.
Anti-junta guerrillas have announced they will expand their Nan Htike Aung missions in major cities such as Yangon and Mandalay.
