Yangon, 24 April
The deputy director-general of Union Election Commission was shot dead in Yangon on 22 April.
U Sai Kyaw was killed near Aung Yadana private hospital in Thingangyun Township, Yangon, around 2 pm on his way back after dropped his wife to a clinic.
The incident happened on Waizayandar road, and he was wounded on his neck, back of left ear, lower arm-pit and hands, and 12 bullet shells were found at the site of incident. He died on the way to the hospital.
Yangon Police Force confirmed the case to the Than Lwin Times, but they refused to give detail information.
