Thaton, June (15)
The bodies of two men were discovered in an old KTV room in the compound of an old PTT gas station near Kamarsai Village in Mon State’s Thaton Township, locals confirmed to Than Lwin Times.
On June 13, around 3:00 p.m., the regime forces went to inspect the old PTT gas station and found the bodies of two men rotting to death.
However, the identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed, and Kamarsai residents have stated that there are no missing people among the locals.
Military lobbies propagandize that these are the bodies of KUN/PDF comrades who were killed during the detonation of the military convoy.
The chairman of the KNU’s Allied Oversight Committee said that no members of their allies were missing and that the military council may have shot those detainees and dumped the bodies.
The remains of the dead are now being examined at the hospital.
The area near the Yangon-Mawlamyine highway where the two men were killed is a place where passenger vehicles and military convoys are often hit with mines or attacked, causing injuries or death to drivers and passengers.
