Dawei, 24 June
A member of Democracy Movement Strike Committee in Dawei district, Tanintharyi region, was released from Dawei prison on 22 June morning after servicing her sentence.
The junt arrested Nyo Mar Oo in a house in Dawei township on 29 May 2021. She was sentenced to 42 months with the charges of Section 505 (a), 505 (c) and 19 (f)
Five members of the DMSC (Dawei) have been arrested until now, and two of them are serving prison sentences.
The the DMSC (Dawei) is continuously staging anti-military coup protest in Tanintharyi region.
