Prison authorities finally acceded to the demands of political prisoners on hunger strike at Monywa prison.
The inmates asked to allow each prisoner for keeping three books, for allowing three prisoner clothes, for returning plates, bowls and foods, and for permission to hold 10 letters and 10 photos.
Monywa People’s Protest Leading Committee announced the success of hunger strike, praising firm determination of prisoners and their endurance to tortures of prison authorities.
The hunger was started on 8 September and was successfully concluded on 13 September.
