The Burma News International (BNI) – Myanmar Peace Monitor (MPM) published a weekly news review on the 2nd year anniversay of people’s defence war of Spring Revolution.
The National Unity Government (NUG) declared the nationwide defensive war on 7 September 2021.
In the two years, the momentum and expansion of the nationwide defensive war has become more visible. At the same time, friction and disputes among the revolutionary forces united against the Myanmar’s military junta have slowed the momentum of the defensive war and political shifts to some extent.
This review focuses on the military dynamics and political shifts two years after the declaration of defensive war based on the key points from the NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La’s State of the Union Address and the NUG Defense Ministry’s two-year anniversary report.
