Mawlamyaing – 3 November
Military council admitted the loss of three cities in the offensive attacks of the Three Brotherhood Alliances in northern Shan State.
Major General Zaw Min Tun said at the press conference on 1 November that they have lost Chinshwehaw, Pham Sai and Kyukok (Pan Sai) to the ethnic armed groups.
“We have suffered the losses for the government, administration and security forces in some areas,” said Major General Zaw Min Tun.
In addition, he toned down the attack, saying it is the incident that normally took place every five years in northern Shan state.
Due to the offensive attacks of the Three Brotherhood Alliances comprised with MNDAA, TNLA and AA, the military has lost more than 90 large and small camps until now.
Operation 1027, which has become famous in a few days, has received the support of the people, including the National Unity Government (NUG), as well as various ethnic revolutionary forces.
Three Brotherhood alliances announced on 1 November that during the five days of the operation, 87 military junta camps have been occupied, and Chinshwehaw, Pham Sai and Hsenwi City were completely controlled.
