Mawlamyine, April (1)
The military council has instructed civil servants to discuss articles, topics and contents written by pro-military supporters in the newspapers at their daily meeting.
The junta instructed in the last week of March to discuss issues such as – the sacrifices of the soldiers for the country, priority for the people, the reason for the coup was that the NLD went beyond the law, and misconceptions of the countries at daily meeting.
The military council said the order was issued for all staff to be aware of the political situation in Myanmar.
A staff member said they had been instructed to submit a five-minute documentary photo and audio recording of the staff discussion to the department head once a week from April 1.
The military council also ordered the distribution of military lobbyists’ literature to be shared with staff members’ families and the people around them.
Employees should distinguish right from wrong and not listen to incitement, as stated in the statement, because the National Unity Government (NUG), CRPH, and those associated with the PDFs are carrying out propaganda aimed at destabilizing the country and disrupting government machanism.
