The Palaw Column-1 reported on 15 November that they arrested a policeman from Palaw police station.
Policeman Aung Ko Phyo was arrested on October 15 near Pagoda Hill in Palaw Township’s Paung village, said the statement.
Aung Ko Phyo, who has been serving in the police force for more than four years, was arrested while going from the police station to the village.
The Palaw Column stated that they would keep Aung Ko Phyo in custody because he is a member of the military council.
He has been detained for almost a month, and the report was released later due to the military council’s invasion, the statement said.
The revolutionary group urged the remaining members of the military council to join the people’s embrace as soon as possible to eradicate the military dictatorship.
According to the National Unity Government (NUG), nearly 14,000 army and police personnel have joined the Civil Disobedient Movement (CDM) since the coup.
