Mone, 9 December
Junta soldiers who surrendered during the battle in Mone town of Kyaukkyi township, Bago region, received proper medical treatment, according to the Royal Peacock Column.
The joint forces of the revolutionary alliance captured the junta’s 590th and 599th light infantry battalions including the police station of Mone township on 4 December.
The junta’s soldiers and their families surrendered during the battle; as well as a large amount of weapons and ammunition were seized, according to the statement.
Moreover, the revolutionary forces provided good medical treatment to the injured on humanitarian ground.
Junta soldiers across the country are also urged to join the people in consideration of their lives.
