With regime forces ramping up aerial attacks in KNU’s Hpapun District, local residents’ homes have been destroyed, and the residents face numerous difficulties, according to Brigade 5.
The junta aircraft dropped two bombs on the field around 8 am and another two bombs around 10:41 am in Khawwah village of Mae Wyne village tract, in Dwelow Town in Hpapun District on December 19.
Moreover, the junta air force conducted aerial bombing on War Thow Law village of Mae Wyne village tract in Dwe lwo Town about 7 pm on Decmber 18, destroying 11 houses and one barn.
Meanwhile, another airstrike hit eight houses and rice miller around 7 pm, the report said.
The junta army launched two days of aerial attacks, destroying many houses, and the villagers face lots of hardships.
There has been ongoing fighting between the junta army and the KNLA Brigade 5 in Hpapun District, with at least four junta soldiers killed in clashes from December 15 to 17, according to a Brigade 5’s statement.
