Kyaikto, March (28)
The resistance forces carried out a drone attack on a junta checkpoint near Mayanchaung village in Mon State’s Kyaikto Township in the afternoon of March 27, injuring three people, including two policemen, according to a source from law enforcement.
Around noon, the combined resistance force dropped five drone-carrying bombs on the Mayanchaung checkpoint.
The bombs exploded after landing on the checkpoint and the buildings.
Following the assault, the regime forces indiscriminately retaliated by firing toward the drone’s route.
On March 21, the headquarters of the 44th Division based in Kyaukto Township, was attacked by a joint unit of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) with a drone, reportedly injuring some troops.
