The military’s airstrike on M-7 People’s Defence Force camp in Pale Township of Sagaing killed four guerilla members on 5 April morning, said a member of this local force to Than Lwin Times.
The M-7 camp is located in a safe area where ground forces cannot reach easily.
“As the attack of fighter jet hit our target very exactly, the location was likely leaked to the military, he added.
The fighter jet bombed over the camp while the forces were taking a rest after lunch.
The preliminary reports said that the PDF lost one M-4, one AK-47, one 60 mm motor and its bullet, handmade guns, mobile phones and mines. Its camp was also burnt down.
The battle has forced locals in nearby 10 villages to flee from the homes.
