The Ministry of Defence under the National Unity Government sent a congratulatory message on 10 April to the Arakan Army (AA) on its 14th anniversary of founding occasion, paying its tribute to Rakhine heroes and martyrs and its people who sacrificed their body parts, lives and property in the revolution.
The MOD expressed its congratulations to Rakhine people for the 14th anniversary of their struggles with the establishment of Arakan Army for ensuring the rights to self-determination and their own destiny.
It also recognized the supports of AA together to oppressed people in the Spring Revolution in fighting against the common enemy across the country.
The ministry made wishes that AA could fulfill and implement the political and national expectations of Rakhine people, while eliminating military junta in united efforts.
