Weather is cloudy in some areas across the country, including Yangon, and heavy rain and strong wind blew with thundershowers along the path of cloud on 30 May.
Rain poured down in many areas of Yangon, Bago, Tanintharyi, Kayin, Mon, Nay Pyi Taw, Shan (south), Rakhine and Kayah since 1 pm on 30 May, and scattered rains in Mandalay, Magway, Shan (east) and Chin.
The Meteorology and Hydrology Department of military regime forecast heavy rains in the remaining states and regions.
Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur.
Thundershowers and tidal wave are expected to occur in 24 hours in Yangon and along Tanintharyi coastal areas.
Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)mph.
