Mawlamyine, 13 June
Brigade (6) of Karen National Union has warned strict actions against the vehicles loaded with junta regime on No.(8) highway that passes through Mawlamyine, Mudon, Thanbyuzayet, Ye, Dawei and Myeik, according to the announcement of KNU’s battalion 27.
The order was issued as the junta’s troops are traveling under the human shield on this way where the resistance forces are operating to avoid any loss for travelers, and the travelers need to cooperate in inspection, not to load passengers or materials related to the military, and not to travel together with military troops.
The resistance force also said that they will not bear any responsibilities for actions that ignore the order.
